Anti-Aging Skincare Regimen for Under $100

Day Time: Step 1 (Cleanse): CeraVe Cream-to-Foam Facial Cleanser Step 2: (Treat): Skin Renewing Retinol Serum Step 3 (Moisturize & SPF): Skin Renewing Day Cream SPF 30

Night Time: Step 1 (Cleanse): CeraVe Cream-to-Foam Facial Cleanser Step 2 (Treat): Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment Step 3 (Moisturize & Repair): Skin Renewing Night Cream

The cleanser feels extremely expensive. This cream out of the bottle forms an insanely rich lather after emulsifying with water. Use sparingly! An amount the size of a dime should suffice. It is an all-in-one cleanser, which means you can remove your makeup, cleanse, and use it as a moisturizer. Additionally, this cleanser includes hyaluronic acid, CeraVe Essential 3 Ceramides, and other good ingredients for mature skin.

Skin Renewing Retinol Serum ($18.99) (Running Total: $30.98) In addition to anti-aging benefits, CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum penetrates your skin deeper through encapsulated retinol. Due to its light and oxygen sensitivity, retinol breaks down when exposed to oxygen or light. Introducing encapsulated retinol, which is formulated to be shielded from light and oxygen, ensuring its efficacy Its top ingredients are retinol, the CeraVe Essential 3 Ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide for skin smoothing.

Skin Renewing Day Cream SPF 30 ($24.99) (Running Total: $55.97) Lastly, I recommend the Skin Renewing Day Cream with SPF 30. This moisturizer has SPF plus another dose of retinol, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid to keep the anti-aging benefits maxed out! Also, when buying a serum and moisturizer from the same line, you can feel safe knowing that all the skincare ingredients were formulated to work with one another. Sometimes we add new products to our skincare line without verifying they are safe to use alongside our other products resulting in either adverse reactions (e.g. rash) or subpar results. Either way, it’s a waste of money. Always do your research before combining skincare products from multiple lines or brands. Better yet, shoot me a message, and I’ll do a blog post.

Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment ($24.99) (Running Total: $80.96) The CeraVe Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment is a 5% AHA exfoliating serum. AHAs are acids that provide gentle chemical exfoliation to accelerate cell turnover. This treatment uses a blend of glycolic and lactic acids that clear away dead skin cells and help us grow new healthy cells. AHAs are notable for reducing the appearance of fine lines but will also treat dullness, dark spots, and enlarged pores.

Skin Renewing Night Cream ($18.99) (Running Total: $99.95) This night cream comes in a tub-style container to account for its thick and creamy consistency. This product will definitely give you “glazed donut” vibes while locking in all the skincare. CeraVe recommends giving the product 4-5 minutes to fully absorb before adding any other products or laying down. The active ingredients list include encapsulated retinol, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, CeraVe Essential 3 Ceramides, and collagen building peptides.

What are collagen building peptides? Peptides, also referred to as polypeptides, are amino acids that are required for your body to create collagen. Our bodies naturally produce collagen but production slows as we age, so skincare with peptides aids in boosting production to keep skin looking smooth.
